8 A.M.

Passed 14 hours already and I still can't believe that I was chitchatting with Mom for 2 hours and 15 minutes. She's in Philippines and here I am a thousand miles away from her. It's been awhile since we had a long phone conversation.

You see we didn't had a typical Mom-Daughter kind of a relationship. She dislikes something in me or something that I do and because I was a rebel during my tender years our worlds are far apart from what we have now. We were in constant at war with each other. I was a Daddy's girl and I always get want I want when I asked my Dad but Mom is a different story.

2 hours seems a long time to be over the phone but actually it felt like 10 minutes only. How times flies so fast when you are enjoying your conversation. We had a blast and covered everything she wants to know and kept her posted of what's going here with us and with the rest of my siblings.

Although, there were some not so good news, she knows that it surpass us and we will be fine. She has been our pillar of strength. Our light to our path unknown. She is always there when you need her help and ready to catch you when you fall. She answers your call no matter how late or early it is. Just hearing her voice makes everything in it's order. It's seems like she has a magic dust that once sprinkled all is back to normal and order.

She has sacrifice a lot for us and has given us what she can give and never in return asked for anything. She has taught us a lot about life, about love and about what the real world looks like. She has prepared us for our battles in life. She is our Mother. The woman who made our life a lot easier. She has taught us almost anything and almost everything we need to know in life. In love she remind us to always leave some for yourself and love yourself as well. She never, ever interferes with our love lives but is always ready to help us move on.

Ma, we missed you and we love you so much. Hope that one day I will be able to hug you and kiss your soft cheeks again.

Take care and God bless!!!

Sometimes we need to be one to be able to understand... You seem to be a great mother to your 2 adorable kids and a good wife to your husband. They are so lucky to have you.... :)
