Friday Slices

We all had a blast last night and stayed up so late. Had a great thanksgiving with friends and family. Played a little poker and some unexpected guest that made our 2007 Thanksgiving a dramatic one.

A lot of food was prepared but nothing traditional instead we opted for a Filipino thanksgiving with our own way. We had some menudo, mechado, BBQ, chicken, beef steak and some pancit. For desserts I personally made some leche flan and bibingka and added some turon. A lot of drinks to quench our thrist from soda to water to wine and vodka’s to scotch, brandy and whiskey.

All in all we are thankful for all the blessings that came our way and for family and friends who came and celebrated Thanksgiving with us.

Went to the mall and did a little Black Friday shopping and OMG! a lot of sales so little money to spare. But there’s always a next time to splurge. For now we need to budget things wisely and properly.
